Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 cups milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Combine sugar, cocoa, corn starch, and salt in a saucepan. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring most of the time. Boil and stir 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. You can cover the top with plastic wrap to keep the pudding from forming a skin.
- For vanilla pudding: omit the cocoa and use 1/3 cup cornstarch.
