Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 28 oz crushed tomato in puree
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tsp chopped garlic
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp dried basil
- 2 tsp fennel seed
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or 1 tsp dried
- 1 tsp salt
Directions
- Saute onions and brown sausage in large skillet. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes, partially covered
