Deep Dish Pizza Crust
Ingredients
- 2.5 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1 tsp yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp butter
- 8 oz warm water (about 100 degrees)
Directions
- Mix the flour, cornmeal, yeast, and salt together in a stand mixer with the paddle attachment (or by hand).
- Shred the butter into the flour mixture, mixing it in as you add it.
- Add the warm water into the flour and butter.
- Mix the water in by pulsing the stand mixer every 5 seconds until it is combined (or by hand). Don't over mix.
- Let rest at room temperature for 2 - 6 hours.
