French Toast

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In medium size mixing bowl, whisk together the half-and-half, eggs, syrup, and salt. You may do this the night before.
  3. Place slices of bread onto a sheet pan. Pour mixture over all the slices evenly. Flip the slices and let the mixture soak in all the slices.
  4. Fry in pan with butter or on griddle on medium heat until done. Remove from pan and place on rack in oven for 5 minutes.
