White Macaroni and Cheese with sausage

  1. Cook pasta. Brown sausage. Melt butter, stir in flour. Add 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper. Cook 1 minute. Gradually add milk.
  2. Bring to a boil, stir and cook 2 min or until thick. Remove from heat; stir in 1/4 cup parmesan.
  3. Pour over pasta and toss to coat.
  4. Combine egg, cottage cheese, parsley, 1/8 tsp pepper and remaining parmesan (1/4 cup)
  5. Spoon 1/2 pasta mixture into greased 9x13 pan.
  6. Top with cottage cheese mixture. Add sausage to remaining pasta mixture and pour over cottage cheese mixture.
  7. Sprinkle with mozarella and paprika.
  8. Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes.
