Jalapeno Bread
Ingredients
- 9 oz (1 1/8 cup) whey (or water) warmed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 2 oz diced cheese of your preference
- 5 1/2 tablespoons fresh chopped jalapeno peppers
- 2 cups (9 oz) bread flour
- 1 cup (4.5 oz) white whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp yeast
Directions
- Add all ingredients to bread maker with flour and liquid on top. Mix the flour and liquid together a little with the yeast to make a slurry.
- Set the bread machine to dough cycle and start it.
- Shape the dough into a loaf or buns, let rise for about 1 hour.
- Bake at 350 for 40 minutes (rotating after 20 minutes) for a loaf.
- Bake at 350 for 15 minutes for buns.
